Melanie is currently working as the Master Teacher in Residence with the Noyce Program and as the Co-Director of the San Diego Science Project. She first experienced lesson study as a fellow of the Knowles Science Teaching Foundation and believes deeply in its ability to empower teacher communities and to improve the depth of learning for students.
